Phase4 - Off-Process

Purpose

Complete the product and process development and confirm the manufacturing process ability to meet the quality, cost and delivery targets at full volume condition.

Description

Complete the development of the manufacturing process.
Confirm the ability of the manufacturing process to achieve all targets through production trials.
Complete product and process validation and obtain production part approval.

Scope

In addition to the Off-Tool condition, all systems to support mass production, such as equipment, jigs, workers, processes and documents(work instruction, inspection record, etc...), installation locations, operators and their training, traceability systems, etc., are covered.

Typical examples are as follows. These are just examples, but not limited to.
